Question: What is your special pricing?

It's simple!  All books are priced by size (overall dimensions + weight).  

X-Small: $5
Small: $7
Medium: $10
Large: $13
X-Large: $18

Question: So every book is the same price, by weight/dimensions?  (What are dimensions?)

Answer: You got it!  And dimensions are height + length + width.

Question: Why did you decide on this kind of pricing?

Answer: We wanted to make it easy to buy awesome books, and make great books more financially accessible, no matter their regular market value.   We have classified them by weight because the heavier the book, the higher the cost to store, handle, and ship (and to originally produce!). 

To give you an idea of how this plays out, most kids' picture books are X-Small (paperbacks) or Small (hardcover), because they are often quite light.  Most adult trade paperbacks are Medium.  Large covers, well, a LARGE cross-section of books on history, cooking, crafting, and design.  X-Large or for very weighty or oversized books.

Question: Do you offer discounts to this special pricing?

The Libertine has an automatic discount of 10% off purchases of five books or more.  Always.  Our sets and packs, too, are always discounted priced at a discount (and YES! you can get the 10% discount on sets/packs when purchased with 4+ other books or sets/packs).

Also, we often come across wonderful books that are not in our preferred, standard Libertine condition (Good to Very Good to New).  We call this our Extra Life pricing.  We still offer these books for sale, but at a discount. 

Question: Are you going to stick to this pricing?

Answer: We are a work in progress, and since our ideas are different, we will check in with you, dear customer, and review our pricing and policies regularly to see where we can make them more streamlined and beneficial.  Feel free to let us know what you think!
